Today the difficulty of a #Production is in controlling each of the steps. Making them as effective and efficient as possible is key to on-time delivery.
#Intakes that can come from #live signals, from #social_networks, memory cards, #Files from a collaborating company, from an #IP, #NDI, #SRT or #SDI contribution.
Luck will be having everything in the same format, but surely you have to unify a #Format of the house.
And that the #Metadata is under the same criteria within the #PAM, so that the average can be searched for and worked on operationally.
#Storage for media seems like an IT department thing. Although when there is a loss of material due to lack of #Redundancy, who doesn’t throw their hands up?
If after all the steps, we reach #Editing by sharing resources and collaborating, all that remains is to be able to make a good export or #Broadcast.
The end result of production is the work of many people, of many stages.
