Aicox Soluciones and Mitsubishi Electric present the new SLIMDIP-Z module

Mitsubishi Electric expands its SLIMDIP range and reaches up to 30 amps of nominal current with a new intelligent module in 30A/600V SLIMDIP package.

By reducing thermal resistance and motor noise, the SLIMDIP-Z is presented as a solution for inverter systems that need to reach up to this current range and simplify and reduce the size of the inverter.

MAIN FEATURES:

  • Insulation improvements reduce thermal resistance between chip and capsule by 40% compared to the existing 15 amp SLIMDIP-L, increasing current rating to 30 amps.
  • The motor noise reduction technology implemented in the RC-IGBTs (Reverse Conducting-IGBTs) helps to reduce the number of noise-suppressing components on the board, which will facilitate the design of inverter systems of smaller size and cost.

Ovzon launches its new mobile satellite terminal, the Ovzon T7. This lightweight terminal is specifically designed for military, civil defence, police and emergency services and, in various tests, has already exceeded customer requirements and product specifications in terms of performance, mobility and resistance, according to the company. .

ovzon-t7

The Ovzon T7 is designed for environments where minimal size, weight and power are needed without sacrificing performance. This ultra-small, rugged terminal weighs just 2.8 kilograms and measures 17 square centimeters. The Ovzon T7 is easily used by an untrained user and works with any common AC or DC power source. The Ovzon T7 gives users the ability to send and receive data at very high speeds or configure the terminal to avoid detection in challenging environments.

This new terminal has transmitted 10 Mbps and received 60 Mbps on current Ovzon networks. When the Ovzon 3 satellite becomes available, these numbers are expected to increase dramatically, enhancing the already impressive capabilities of the mobile satellite terminal.

It will also take full advantage of the “close buddy” capabilities provided by Ovzon 3’s onboard processor for continuous operations in a contested environment. These features include direct communication between Ovzon T7 terminals when gateways are unavailable, communication below the noise level, obfuscation of traffic patterns, frequency hopping, and enhanced communications in complex environments, even through aircraft rotors. , planes and unmanned vehicles in the air, on the ground and in the water.

“We are excited to further enhance our customers’ ability to perform critical missions in the most challenging environments . In an era of growing geopolitical instability and environmental crisis, the innovation, delivery and integration of the Ovzon T7 terminal and the Ovzon 3 class of satellites into our SATCOM-as-a-Service solution will provide unprecedented levels of performance, mobility and resilience.” , has pointed out Per Norén, CEO of Ovzon.

Signal generator options improve output power and harmonic performance

AnaPico APSINXXG series signal generators with higher frequency range of 12 or 20 GHz are now available with FILT and PE2 options. The FILT option provides a harmonic level of -60 dBm in the X and Ku band frequency ranges, keeping the maximum power level at +25 dBm. The PE2 option includes a mechanical step attenuator that allows the signal generator to operate down to -120 dBm input power.

Key needs of the medical industry

Amphenol’s TwinLine range of antennas was unique, when it came on the market 10 years ago, for its 2 parallel low band columns and low downforce characteristics.

Soon, a new TwinLine platform will once again set the standard in #antennas for base stations: The world’s first mid-band 2 low 4 antenna with a #modular (Integra) design will allow mobile network operators to #upgrade antennas to suit that the #grid evolve, with the consequent saving of carbon #emissions.
